“We have lived an highly emotional Grand Prix in Jerez” explained
Alain Bronec, team owner. “The qualifying tests did not go as we had
hoped for. Alan’s crash was quite tough and he could not participate to
the last session on Saturday. As he started the race placed at the last
place we did not expect him to bring back any points. Concerning Kenta
and his 22d place, it was also challenging but slightly more doable
according to our expectations.
Kenta did a performance during the race. He was 7th at lap 11 and 12
and fought within a group of seven for the 6th spot. We can tell that he
has found the right feeling. Potential is here and with better
qualifications he could have hoped for better results.
Unfortunately he felt at lap 8 and left Spain with no points.
Alan ended this weekend in a very positive way : his goal is to score
some points at each race and he did it!
Next GP will take place in a week and our pilots will have very little time
to get fit and ready in order to do their utmost during the Portuguese
race”.
